Start With the Approved Component List

Include the information needed to distinguish similar parts: capacity, material, finish, dimensions, colour reference and artwork version. The level of detail depends on the component and the project.
A private-label range based on Salon Pet Deodorizing Spray 500ml and Intensive Repair Pet Conditioner 500ml may use different closures and labels. Keep each SKU's approved components identifiable even when the range shares the same visual design.
Agree Receiving Questions Before Goods Arrive

Define which checks are visual and which need measurement or functional evaluation. Colour, print quality, fit, dispensing and transport performance are different questions. Do not claim that one quick visual inspection answers all of them.
Keep the Sampling Plan Project-Specific
Ask the factory and component supplier to agree a suitable inspection plan. This article does not promise that every component is individually tested or prescribe a universal acceptance number. A supplier certificate may support the review, but it should not leave the buyer unclear about the agreed receiving checks.
Give Unapproved Goods a Clear Status
Ask how components awaiting review are identified and prevented from being used accidentally. The relevant control may involve designated storage, labels and inventory status. Confirm the practical method for your project instead of assuming that a photograph of a tidy warehouse proves the process.
If a supplier sends a different pump or an older label version, record the difference and assess it before use. A deadline is not technical approval. The buyer should know whether the solution is replacement, authorized rework, revised evaluation or another documented disposition.
Connect Receiving to the Finished Order
Agree how approved component records connect to filling and packing records. This makes later investigation more useful if a complaint concerns a closure or print issue. Keep the final order reference consistent across purchasing, production and export documents.
