Start with a responsibility table
Importers often want fewer suppliers, but a single commercial contact can coordinate products with different production routes. Ask who makes each reference, who approves the sample and artwork, and who supplies the agreed quality and export documents. Keep the answer product-specific.

Do not collapse different references into one product
The existing Cat Litter Deodorizer 300ml and the supplied 400g Cat Litter Deodorizing Granules reference use different quantity units and presentations. A gram value cannot be converted into millilitres without the relevant product data. They require a real comparison of use, format and pack before any new SKU decision.
For cosmetic sprays, use actual references such as Skin Barrier Care Spray 100ml or Anti-Static Detangling Mist 200ml. A litter additive must not be presented as a spray for direct application to the animal.
Attach the sample to its specification
- Identify the product reference, version, fill and pack photograph.
- Agree the intended use, proposed wording and target market.
- Record which party provides the relevant documents and which review applies to requested changes.
- Approve the sample, artwork and quality-check plan together.
- Confirm quotation inclusions and shipment handover responsibilities.
For granules, useful review questions include dispensing behaviour, dust observations under the agreed method, jar closure and label clarity. These are proposed review areas, not claims that a product is dust-free or delivers a measured number of days of odour control.
Keep MOQ and pricing meaningful
The supplied cat-series basis is 500 retail units per SKU, with sets counted as sets. Ask for a line-by-line quotation identifying the unit, customization and included packaging. Wholesale market estimates are not PAWS FUN selling prices. Freight, testing scope and document needs should be explicit rather than silently assumed.
Use handover records to reduce ambiguity
Request an agreed list of checks, code locations and shipment documents. Document which specification revision was approved and how changes are accepted.
